We do not require an account. This page explains what data is processed when you use Wayvert, run by Wayvert, and what choices you have. Questions can be sent to hello@mdxtora.com.

Stored in your browser

• Cached exchange rates, your home currency, your last trip, and your theme choice (local storage). This stays on your device.
• Your last five unit conversions, only if you tick “Remember recent conversions on this device” on the Units page. They are never sent to us, and you can clear them there at any time.

Data we process

• Currency, unit and time zone conversions run in your browser. The amounts you type are not sent to us.
• Exchange-rate providers receive a normal web request from your browser when rates load, which includes your IP address.
• Trip Budget: the destination and travel style you choose are sent to our server and, when an estimate is generated, to an AI service provider that processes the request for us. Do not enter personal information.
• Your IP address is used briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention and is not used to identify you.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. If we use analytics, it is cookieless and does not track you across sites.

Advertising, cookies and third-party vendors

We show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. These ads can be personalized. Those vendors process data under their own policies; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your choices. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ad cookies are used only after you give consent through Google's consent message, which is a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer. You can also:

• turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings;
• opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.com in Europe);
• block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools keep working without them.

Affiliate links

Some links lead to other companies' websites and are labeled as sponsored. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies once you visit them. See the affiliate disclosure.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Consent: for advertising cookies and similar technologies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interests: running, securing and preventing abuse of the site, such as rate limiting.

• have inaccurate data corrected or your data erased;
• restrict or object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
• data portability, where it applies;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing; and
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
